An Architecture Model Maker is responsible for creating detailed physical scale models of buildings, landscapes, and architectural designs to help visualize and present construction concepts. This role involves interpreting architectural drawings, sketches, and CAD plans, and converting them into precise and realistic models using materials such as foam board, wood, acrylic, cardboard, and plastic. Architecture Model Makers collaborate closely with architects, designers, and planners to ensure accuracy, proportion, and aesthetic quality in every model. They use specialized tools and techniques to cut, assemble, and finish models with high attention to detail. This role requires strong craftsmanship, spatial awareness, creativity, and the ability to translate complex design ideas into tangible, visually appealing representations.
