They work with raw video clips, audio, graphics, and effects to produce high-quality videos for platforms such as social media, websites, advertisements, films, or television. The role involves trimming footage, enhancing visuals and sound, adding transitions, color correction, and ensuring smooth flow and continuity. Video Editors collaborate closely with directors, content creators, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver content on time. They must be proficient in editing software, have a strong sense of timing and creativity, and stay updated with current trends to create compelling and impactful videos.
