Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement APIs for various applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
• Collaborate with the team to define and implement architecture and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to current projects.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Assist in project planning, estimation, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and server-side development.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Good understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
