Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and related frameworks.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Design and implement APIs for various applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
Collaborate with the team to define and implement architecture and best practices.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to current projects.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Assist in project planning, estimation, and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and server-side development.
Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js
Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Knowledge of databases, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Good understanding of software development principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
